| GARGANTUA is a
complete software suite enabling EDMS (Electronic Document
Management System), ADR/ADP (Automatic Document Redaing/Automatic
Document Processing) and Workflow.
The suites consists of separate modules integrated into and
around the core GARGANTUA server.
GARGANTUA 5 is the core product of our Electronic Document
and Folder Management System software range. The main goals
of this extremely efficient and powerful system are:
- dematerialization of folders and harcopy documents,
- identification, indexing, keeping and storing of all types
of documents,
- quick and relevant search of contents with immediate retrieval
and direct access
LARA is the association of GARGANTUA’s ADR (Automatic
Document Reading) and GARGANTUA ADP (Automatic Document Processing)
modules.
The ADR module allows you to read handwritten information
on forms or documents presenting the same architecture. Its
main goals are:
- automatic reading and capture of the information,
- transformation of all or part of the information into
an index set and transfer to GARGANTUA,
- transfer of the information as data set to other applications
The associated ADP module allows document type recognition
before ADR.
NORA is the latest version of SIATEL Workflow system. Its
purpose is to enable public or private sector bodies to:
- organize task flow and create processes,
- optimize and supervise individual work or team work,
- allow continuity of activity locally or through a network,
thanks to its client-server / intranet / Internet structure
GARGANTUA WEB is the Intranet / Internet module of GARGANTUA.
It comes in various versions. Its main goals are:
- to optimize communication,
- to allow teleworking,
- to offer full portal functionalities
GARGANTUA PUSH module manages the automatic disseminating
of information from GARGANTUA databases. Via a browser, it
enables local or remote users to:
- subscribe to GARGANTUA documentation databases,
- receive targeted documentation corresponding to their
centers of interest and / or the selected parameters
GARGANTUA COLD is a software specially designed to manage
large or very large volumes of text files of any origin (Web
information, emails, …), and especially files generated
from spools of minicomputer or mainframe. Its main goals are:
- to automatically pick up the various files and insert
them into the system,
- to automatically index in full text the information held
by the different files,
- to immediately retrieve searched expressions or files
with direct access to data
Thesaurus Manager is GARGANTUA’s additional thesaurus
management module. It is an additional lexical database. Its
main goals are search facilitating and broadening through:
- the use of “family links” between terms,
- synonym management, translation,
- inclusion links
