Minimum requirements: Pentium IV, 2 GHz, 512MB RAM (1GB recommended), 2GB disk space for the Webiso application, disk space for your own procedures according to your requirements.

Search engine
A full-text search engine is delivered as standard with the WEBISO application. No additional license or maintenance costs are involved.

Browser
In a Web environment Webiso can be accessed by PCs running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape Navigator 6.0 or higher, Safari 2.0,
FireFox 1.5 and Mozilla 1.x.

Email system
Webiso can use any email system supporting the SMTP protocol. This includes, for example, Microsoft Exchange, Sendmail and Lotus Notes.

Editor
All editors capable of generating HTML can be used with Webiso. For the creation of documents (procedures and instructions), it is recommended to use a dedicated HTML editor, such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver. Alternatively (and most commonly used) is Microsoft Word (minimum Word 2000 edition).

Rich media elements
Webiso can import almost any non-textual format, such as jpg, gif and bmp. For full integration enabling hyperlinks between rich media elements and textual documents, a choice of two optional packages is available. Microsoft Visio or Igrafx Flowcharter. The only person who needs to use one of these is the person creating the graphics.
